So Whats New?
Your water is supplied through the ceiling, down the slide rail and into the hose.
Why?
Well, if you have a stud partition wall where the depth in the wall cavity prevents you from installing pipes, simply screw the kit to the wall and run the connection through the ceiling and down to the adjacent wall, which offers wall cavity depth for in wall plumbing.

Your water is supplied through the wall bracket at the base of the slide rail.
Why?
Well the normal scenario is that you would have a wall elbow which supplies the water to the hose. This option offers a more integrated and minimalist design dispensing with the wall elbow.

The fixings are therefore designed for replacement - i.e a standard wall elbow connection.

COMPLETE WITH THE TREVI ASCARI DUAL TT SHOWER VALVE. (As pictured left)
What is an in-line valve?
A ceramic disc integrated into the base of the slide rail.
The valve operates two seperate flow controls, one for the hand set and one for the fixed head.
The L6839 brings for the first time the ability to use both the handset and the fixed head at the same time. (Subject to water pressure - on a low pressure system a minimum of 0.3 bar would be required, otherwise a high pressure system is necessary - Combi or Pumped). Normally you would need to divert the water to either the hand set or the fixed head. Not anymore, now you can use both.
Also, water which is normally supplied via a wall elbow is actually directed through the back of what looks like a simple wall fixation bracket. It then flows straight into your shower hose. You then have a shower which is truly minimalist in design.
Simple Valve
Since you already have control of the water on the control of the slide rail, you dont need a valve with both thermostatic and water flow control. This means all you need is a Central Thermostatic Valve.

Why Choose This Option?
If you already have an exposed valve, this kit fits very simply onto the existing water connection.
Two screws for the top wall fixation bracket and one connection to the exposed valve - job done!
(Suitable for use with Trevi Therm Exposed Valve)

So Whats New?
Well normally to install a fixed head you would need to chase the wall to install the plumbing. This means disturbing your existing decor (tiles etc) and then making them good.
If you are replacing your old shower kit, you have no need to damage your wall. No damage to the plaster work or tiling. No time taken up plumbing and repairing.
Saves you cost in labour time since there is a simple connection to your existing wall elbow supply.
